The PDM is an Electronic Power Distribution Module, offering a wide range of outputs up to 35 ampere, the device is capable of handling an extensive variety of loads.
Fully programmable and communicating over CAN bus (2), the module is intended to handle the several wake up scenarios and behaviors of a modern vehicle. The ‘always ON’ outputs will allow you to supply other modules such as telematics, even if the PDM is turned off.
For diagnostic purposes a ‘fuse like’ software design block allows you a full diagnosis of the outputs to protect the system (open load, small over current for maintenance, high over current for protection).
